Top-Down Compressor
I'm working on a compressor that combines fast dynamic control with a bit of weight and character, without needing to stack extra processing just to get the sound I'm after.
It's inspired by the response of classic FET compressors, with adjustable attack, release and ratio, plus subtle tonal shaping and gentle clipping.
